Financial Audits and 990 Filing
Every PTA is required to file an annual report with the IRS, called a Form 990, to keep its nonprofit status. ECCC helps make this easier for member PTAs.
Under $50,000 in annual income: For a $50 contribution to our scholarship fund, ECCC will audit your books, file your 990, and send both to District and State on your behalf.
Over $50,000 in annual income: ECCC will audit your books, but you will need to hire an accountant to file your 990. We are not equipped to file for PTAs above this threshold.
Submit your books between July 1 and September 15. State requires audits and 990s by September 30, so books received after mid-September cannot be processed in time.
