Using Google Workspace

Google Workspace is available for free for nonprofits. Search Google for Nonprofits and look into getting this setup for your local unit PTA. Many local units and the ECCC PTA Council have been getting started using this over the past couple years. Here are the slides from the Using Google Workspace introductory training given in the August 2021 ECCC PTA Priority Fair.

Virtual Priorites Tour

ECCC PTA would like to invite you to have a discussion with Commission Jerica Richardson, District 2, about her priorities and how they relate to public education in our area this Thursday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom (please see flyer below). These priorities include, but are not limited to, libraries, after school activities, parks and recreations, and the proposed City of East Cobb. This discussion is open to any stakeholder who wants to listen and participate. We look forward to welcoming you all to join us in this opportunity to listen and pose questions to one of our elected officials on priorities that are important to PTA, public education, our community and our schools. Margie Hatfield Scholarship

DEADLINE Extended!

The ECCC PTA has elected to extend the deadline for application for the ECCC PTA Margie Hatfield Scholarship from March 31, 2021 to this Friday, April 2, 2021.  All applications must be postmarked by that date.
Each spring the East Cobb County Council (ECCC) of PTAs awards one $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from each of the six ECCC high schools. The scholarship, known as the Margie Hatfield Scholarship, honors the dedication and years of service given by Mrs. Hatfield to the youth of our council. In recognition of her volunteer involvement, the Margie Hatfield Scholarship Fund awards deserving seniors who have made significant contributions to the community.

Any graduating senior enrolling in a full-time course of study at any institute of higher learning may apply. Students, however, must be a member of your school’s PTSA and if awarded a scholarship, must use the funds for continuing education.

We appreciate you making your eligible seniors aware of this opportunity!

If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Jolynn Hardizi and Tammy Andress, Scholarship Chairs at mailto:scholarship@ecccpta.org.

Deadline extended to Friday, April 2, 2021!
