Learn how to bring this powerful parenting program to your school!
Parent-To-Parent creates a positive parent network within your school that counters the challenges of today’s toxic culture. It addresses core issues such as drugs, sex, violence, bullying, and more, honestly and directly. It helps parents understand they are not alone in setting and enforcing acceptable behavior.
ECCC and the Cobb County Prevention Intervention Center have worked together to bring this program to your school free of charge. Participating parents pay a nominal fee to buy materials they keep and can use at home. The program was created by Bill Oliver, a former Walton High School parent after his daughter was involved in drugs. Bonnie Brand, an experienced Parent 2 Parent facilitator will come to your school to help facilitate your group.
All are welcome, especially PTA presidents, Officers and/or Board members, Parent/Family Involvement Chairs and interested parents.
This program is best suited for 5th grade – High School, especially the Middle School transition years.
Please rsvp to Stephanie Holden at involvement@ecccpta.org by November 9.
