Eye 4 Art “Keeping my Eye on Art Events”
ByFamily Events at the High Museum
There is an impressive and never-ending line-up of family fun and events every day at the High Museum of Art. From toddlers to teenagers, everyone in the family will enjoy looking at, talking about, and sharing the art experiences together.
Second Sundays
Experience a variety of cultures and artistic traditions together during Second Sunday Performances at the High, every second Sunday of the month. Take in a musical, dance or theatrical performance; listen during story time; or watch an artist at work. It’s art-filled fun for the whole family – make sure to get in on the fun!
Family Fun Days
Join us for these fun-filled days where you can create a piece of art, be entertained by a theatrical or musical performance, and much more. On these days admission is free for participation in all hands-on workshops and entrance into all exhibitions and scheduled events.
Discovery Backpacks
Take an exciting journey through the Museum inspired by a backpack filled with art projects, puzzles, books, games, and easy to follow instructions. This do-it-yourself gallery adventure takes 30 to 45 minutes and can be borrowed from the Coat Check area in the Wieland Lobby. Generous support for Discovery Backpacks is provided by Publix Supermarkets Charities.
