Dickerson Middle School’s Environmental Club HEROES won first place in the Waste Reduction and Recycling category of the Keep Georgia Beautiful 2009 Awards Program. Their entry was chosen by a panel of judges from an impressive field of applications. As the notation read " Please take great pride in this well deserved recognition for the work you do for your community."
